1. Enable the students to use wh-questions and master the target language.

Teaching difficult points(教学难点)
1. 当主语为第三人称单数时，问句中助动词的选用。
e.g. What does he do?
2. 当主语为第三人称单数时，谓语动词变为三单形式。
e.g. He/She wants to be…….
3. 表示有生命的名词的所有格，以s结尾的加′，不是以s结尾的加′s. e.g .Anna s mother 、the teachers room.

Step 1 Warming up ﹠leading in
I will broadcast a song-peerless ,to lead students to guess the Language Goal of this unit.
Broadcast: Doctor actor lawyer or singer,
Why not president, be a dreamer.
You can be just the one you want to be.
Translate them into Chinese.
It expresses positive idea, and what do you want to be? What′s your occupation ideal? Take these questions, we learn unit 4.
Step 2 Presentation ﹠ Learning
1. Ask sb to memorize the words about jobs.
2. Look at 1a-match the words about jobs.

<2>I read first, then students follow me.
<3>Add some words : pilot 飞行员 cook 厨师
cleaner 清洁工 driver 司机 博士生 老板

3. Finish 1a.check the answers (1-8f b h c a d e g)
Step 3 practice
1. Explain the conversation
2. Show some pictures, lead students to make conversations.
T: What does she do? S: she is a doctor.
3. Practice in groups, then score for performance and conversation.
4. Explain 2c, PAIRWORK.
What does Anna’s mother do? She’s a bank clerk.
What does Anna’s mother want to be? She wants to be a policewoman.
有生命名词的所有格形式，这个名词以S结尾的，只需要在名词后面加’，这个名词不是以S结尾的，名词后面加’S

1. Ask sb’s job→What +助动词+主语+do？
